We received a message on our Instagram page from Svitlana this weekend. She is a resident of Sloviansk who cannot leave it because of her elderly mother. The woman is 42 years old. Before the war she worked in a shop. Now she saves her family, helps neighbours, friends and people she knows who are in the same situation. She asks not to mention her surname and not to show her photos, because she is afraid. And for the sake of such people as Svitlana drivers go to dangerous places and workers of our humanitarian headquarters forget to sleep. We have collected 500 kg of long-term storage products and deliver it to the residents of Sloviansk.
28 thousand units of medicines, which came to our fund from the Dutch partners and council member Kees Huizinga, went to 9 medical institutions of Uman district.
From March to August SAVEUA distributed 250 000 food kits to Ukrainians. 1 food set SAVE UA - 2 weeks for the Ukrainian moms and dads without thinking about what to feed their kids. So the fund gave 250,000 quiet weeks for Ukrainian families.
We distributed 1 510 kg of medical supplies to hospitals in Cherkassy oblast.
