Foundation Report for 2025

Foundation Report for 2025

Friends, as is now our tradition, we are summing up the year and sharing the results the Fund’s team has achieved thanks to the support of our long-term partners and friends of Ukraine from the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Malta.

This year, we continued to support frontline and de-occupied communities. We provided medical facilities with essential resources and supported dairy farms affected by the war in frontline areas—enterprises that, despite the war, remain pillars of their communities, preserve jobs, and sustain local economies. Because resilient communities mean a resilient country.

Behind every figure below are doctors, farmers, families, and communities who were able to continue living and working even under the most difficult conditions.

This year, we provided:

  • 148,241 units of medical supplies for use in resuscitation, procedural, and surgical care in inpatient departments—from basic syringes and masks to surgical instruments and anesthesiology consumables—for hospitals in the Poltava, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Odesa, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, and Sumy regions, as well as for the Uman Central City Hospital;
  • 60 diesel generators (80 kW and 100 kW) to support dairy farms in regions most affected by the war and power outages, located in frontline areas;
  • 142 pieces of furniture, including 39 functional beds with mattresses, 4 wheelchairs, 16 chairs, 5 shower trolleys, 15 mobile screens, 6 infusion stands, and 1 patient lift;
  • 6 surgical functional beds with lifts, as well as medical surgical bedside cabinets;
  • 1 vehicle to enable medical staff to provide more efficient patient care;
  • 6 electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters for people who acquired disabilities as a result of the war;
  • 100 new mattresses for children at Uman Kindergarten No. 31;
  • 50 rollators—special walking aids for the safe mobility of elderly people and those undergoing rehabilitation after injuries or surgeries;
  • 100 tons of high-yield seed potatoes for communities in the Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions;
  • 28,000 food boxes distributed at the beginning of the year to internally displaced families from affected regions currently living in Uman. With this, we completed a large-scale project with the RRT team that ran from February 2023 to January 2025. Over the entire period, 351,600 food kits were delivered.

We opened the SaveUA humanitarian center in Uman so that internally displaced families and people facing hardship who live in Uman can receive necessary consultations and available humanitarian assistance.

In September, the SaveUA Foundation was included in the “TOP 100+ Largest Transparent Charitable Organizations of Ukraine” ranking based on its 2024 reporting results. This recognition became an important acknowledgment of our team’s work and another confirmation of effective and transparent charitable activities.

We are grateful to our partners for their unwavering support of humanitarian projects and assistance to the population: true friends of Ukraine from the United States—José Andrés and his Longer Tables Fund, DAWN Inc., and personally Yuliia Brockdorf; His Royal Highness Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Count Hubertus von Nesselrode from Germany; the entire UK team of Rapid Relief Team; partners of the Maltese Aid Service in Lviv; the company Agrico Ukraine; the German Rotary Club Steinfurt (D1870, Westphalia); the Ukrainian Rotary Club Cherkasy (D2232); and personally the Rotary District Governor in Ukraine, Olha Paliichuk. We also thank our friends from Lions International Club Münsterland Graf Arnold and Lions International Club Steinfurt.

All these results became possible thanks to trust, partnership, and joint efforts. We thank everyone who stood with us this year and supported our initiatives—together we helped Ukraine withstand the most challenging times. And together we proved that even in times of war, support has the power to change lives.

We thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for every day we have—for the opportunity to work and help people.
Together—to Victory!
